xfce4-settings is broken or something in amd64. In a VM, i386 works
well.
The first thing you can notice is the Greybird Theme broken, see image

In the Settings, there are fewer applications than i386

I have installed nvidia-319-updates (319.49) and bumblebee-nvidia, I
configured some files too, reboot and try "optirun" and "primusrun" with
some apps, and it's OK, it seems that the system uses well nvidia

It still happens in Saucy, I have one HDD and a SSD, I tried it:
HDD:
/dev/sda1
/dev/sda2 - linux-swap
/dev/sda3 - /var
/dev/sda4 -
/dev/sda5 -
/dev/sda7 - /home
SSD:
/dev/sdb1 - EFI
/dev/sdb2 - /boot
/dev/sdb3 - /
And the install hangs... then, I did use /var in a separate partition,
and ubuntu

forgets to put .png or .svg in Desktop Entry file name, so in Unity or
others menus the item menu icon does not appear.

put /var/cache on tmpfs is not a good idea...
