Well, the suggested patch cannot be applied to euca2ools because of a
bug in Eucalyptus.
If applied, then 'euca-describe-snapshots' without any arguments will hang,
eventually returning with:
$ euca-describe-snapshots
Warning: failed to parse error message from AWS: :1:0: syntax error

Given the above, and the fact that boto 1.8 does not recognized the
'restorable_by' param to get_all_snapshots, I don't think this can be
resolved at the present time.
We could work around the limitation in boto 1.8, and provide the right
results in 1.9, but without server support it doesn't seem

I'm not all together sure that the reported behavior *is* a bug. Has this ever
worked?
What I see in lucid, after fixing bug 542324 is that the non-root user cannot
use 'console'. Has non-root ever been able to use virsh console ? If so,
Attaching the suggested debdiff to fix this. I've tested this locally.
