This error is occuring for me as well. You can make the keyboard and
mouse work in the installer by simply unplugging/replugging the dongle.
However I have to reset the dongle at least once per reboot to make it
work again.

What happens when you click this link in Firefox? apt://wine
Alternatively what happens when you go to Applications->Add/Remove and
check the box next to Wine?

Hmm, launchpad won't make apt:// links clickable -- try copy/pasting
"apt://wine" into the address bar. Or do the Applications->Add
Applications thing. Or check Wine in Synaptic. Please then tell me
exactly what it's saying.

Apt installing recommendations by default is the normal configuration
starting with Intrepid. You can change this. You can also remove
amavisd-new and apt will not try to re-install it.

remaining rdepends (just uploaded a kde-extras that drops it from the

Most of Wine's fonts we don't want in other Linux applications
(especially the symbol fonts and such). The ones we do want should be
split into a proper ttf-foo package; see

Please don't file bugs on FTBFS in the development release. The Kubuntu
team is actively working to get our KDE 4.2 snapshot built and bugs like
this are just a distraction.
Your interest is appreciated, but we have other tools we use to track
thses kinds of issues.

Hmm, I'm willing to put this together if I can get it working. I'm
wondering how they're generating their .deb on their site, as they don't
