After switching on (Notebook Dell Inspiron 1100) and login no network
connections are possible.

I have just setup upbuntu 7.10 (screen = 1024x768) and evolution version is
2.12.1.
The evolution windows are to big for the screen an it is not possible to down
size them.
Because i did not find this bug number i have opened a question (#25748 in
German) yesterda
The bug is that the settings made and stored in network-manager are not loaded
automatically when the system is coming up.
I think the last chosen location, setting should be taken at the next start up
of Ubuntu.
Or a setting named "default" or what ever will do it as well...
