Hi All, Yes this "could" be with compiz-fusion. Try disabling effects like those burn, lamp etc. Use minimize effect instead. this can be configured from the compiz configuration. This should work, but not 100% sure. Hoping for better fix from Ubuntu 8.04 tomorrow. -- xserver crashes while win

by the way, disabling the compiz-fusion totally cant really be a solution. if nothing helps, try removing the Avant Window Manager instead. I think Avant has more stability issues than the compiz-fusion. No positive response from the guys at Ubuntu yet. sigh... -- xserver crashes while window min
