Playing DVD in VLC results in it crashing at an apparently random point.
Normally jamming up my laptop. However having a terminal standing by
with 'killall -9 vlc' already entered and selected seems to save my
laptop most times.

after a bit more tinkering, i seem to have stopped the out of range

that it was trying to load the 'wacom' modules, wacom make tablets, and
as i dont have one i was very surprised. So i removed the xser

ive found this to be quite a common occurence with abiword, im using
Edgy Eft to-date, with abiword 7 compiled :P, and it dosn't work for me
either, im betting its abiwords .doc support

Ok, there has been an nvidia-glx update, and it seems to have cured the
bug, im going to leave it open though, in case there are any further
troubles

hmm, this dosn't sound like a 'bug' to me, more like a wishlist.
I think nautilus is behaving fine, the whole point of read-only is that
the files permissions are rigged to not allow you to edit the files /
delete them.
As nautilus's abilities are based upon your user privilages. Nautilus

I can safely say that the I can see the icons on my xfce4.
Lukas, try changing the menu selections by right-clicking on

It could be a hoary problem, as Edgy has no trouble (me and Vassillis).
No problem with Vsftpd,
the main problem is that you probably have active connections with
vsftpd, and hoary wont let it be shut down,
