Hi, I confirm this compiz bug (jaunty ubuntu studio). Most generaly it's
occurs on any button with tooltips when the current gnome application is
in fullscreen mode (F11).

After a few research: uncheck "unredirect full screen" in Compiz options
(General tab) seems correct this problem ;)

Alacarte version is 0.11.5-0ubuntu1.1
For reproduce this bug (not very important ok ;):
