The attached crash report was generated after I had activated the "keep
syncrhonized with internet servers" option in the time & date setting
program. The ntp software seems to have installed correctly, then
python reported a crash.
** Affects: python-defaults (Ubuntu)
BTW, this is using edgy rc i386, a fresh install.

Both of those commands work as expected.
I also tried uninstalling ntp and ntp-simple, then re-activating NTP
support through admin->time&date, hoping to reproduce the crash. But it
didn't recognize that ntp was no longer installed so that wasn't helpful
either.

Just tried to reproduce this on a fresh install, without success.
Everything went smoothly. Good for my machine, but bad for bug
hunting... :-(
