In my - new - intrepid installation wv was installed, but elinks was missing.
The tracker filter needs elinks and wv to work.

Additional Information that´s maybe interesting to get the problem solved:
Because I use raid1 with LVM Ubuntu uses lilo as Bootloader. So I don´t think
that it makes a difference if grub or lilo is used.
Furthermore I used my system already with edgy - without additional
delay or something else.
