There was an update today and I hoped it would be the fix but it's not
the case. It did change the error message though, now it's saying that
the music file doesn't exist. It's seems that /home is missing in the
address.

Well, the last version in edgy works really well, no problems anymore
with the last chunks so for me it is fixed.
For the memory hog I also think that it's really a light torrent, and it
has all the options I need.

Like I said I just upgraded to Feisty Herd 5 with a clean install. So I
have amarok 1.4.5.
The meaning of "1 piste en attente" is that there is still one music
file to transfer.
Because it is a fresh install I did not do any file transfer so there
are no pending transfers waiting to be done.

Thanks for the answer, I actually thought I had to install some package
to make it work...but it works just like you said.
It works fine for ogg but like you said not for mp3, maybe have the
package installed when you decide to install the mp3 support ? Even if
that's not possible I think that ogg
Weird I'm pretty sure I saw the message using feisty beta 5 that I had
to install samba and nfs. Even though we hear a lot about the easy
installation only Ubuntu gets the love, Kubuntu feels left out and I
never used Xubuntu so I don't know.

time Ubuntu (feisty) on another computer and everything was done with
the mouse easily, that is mp3 support (just by using totem), divx,
nvidia install using driver manager I think, samba sharing, ..

To do it you have to manually click on the dvd on the desktop with the
right click and tell kde to unmount the disk, then it works, but this
not really user friendly, k3b should be able to somehow force the
unmount.
