Originally I installed Ubuntu 8.04 beta 1 and it didn't see any wireless card.
Then I installed b43-fwcutter and now my wlan card (Broadcom 4306) is
recognised and it finds my wireless network, but I cannot connect!

if I turn on "roaming mode", it works perfectly, but if I want to configure
manually my network settings (IP address, subnet mask etc...) (see

I'm like om26er. Switching zones seems to be the problem here. I never use
moblin browser. Whenever the cpu/hd load goes up a bit and i try to switch

I have one of the white keyboards that predates the aluminum ones. I had
it working fine using hidd and the hci reset method described in the
blog post I mentioned in the bug description.
I have had trouble with this keyboard ever since the bluetooth stack was
overhauled for Hardy. I used the act
hidd is there after isntalling the bluez-compat package, but it now
fails to connect. The message returned when attempting to connect to the
keyboard is "Can't get device information: Function not implemented"

firmware from the file you copied and place the resulting isight.fw file
in /lib/firmware
