Binary package hint: mdadm
I am unsure to which package this belongs. I have a system with 3 drives
that are set up by mdadm to various raid levels and on top of this lvm2.
The problem began I think around vol-id to blkid transition in Karmic.

For stability reasons I hope this patch will be included or backported
into Ubuntu 2.6.22 kernel. I found that this problem has been fixed in

I have the same issue with a similar computer configuration and Gutsy
64-bit, but happens only when I have memory remapping enabled (needed
because of 4 GB of RAM) in the BIOS. With memory remapping disabled it
detects only 3.3 GB but everything is OK.
The newest 2.6.22.10 kernel doesn't fix this
This is exactly what I also found. Works in alternative CD but not in
installed system.
I reproduced this on a very old system (Celeron 400) with trident
graphic card so it should not be nvidia graphic card specific.

I can confirm - I have been using Hardy for quite some time now. It
works now with memory remapping enabled, which means I can now use the
whole 4 GB of ram available.
The only "problem" with the ATL1 network card driver (which was the
cause of this problem) I still have is that dmesg reports:

I have the latest 2.6.24-12, but it worked all the way from the first
release 2.6.24 release in Hardy. I have transfered from / to a large

The only problem that I thought is related to this bug is occasional
freezing, but the pr

When I try to install kdesvn in Feisty, the package depends on

Hi,
I have actually already a working solution for the most common use case
- 90 degree image rotation. The rotation is working on the image itself,
so it does not need a drawing layer rewrite (AOO guy are working on this
so we don't need to duplicate the effort). For jpeg images I use a

Hi,
I have commited the rotation code into master - you can test it in the
latest daily build [1]. Currently rotation is located in right-click
menu on an image, unde "manage graphic" but this may change in the
future.

Hi,
I managed to implement this for most scenarios. The only problem for now
are the tables. I will commit the change without tables today so you can

I don't think this is very hard to implement and it makes sense. I will look

There are some issues left - when you have a table and move any text
