I have installed the nvidia driver (Nvidia Accelerated graphics driver
version173) are installed but doesnt seam to be working (this does also happen
with other drivers). I cannot run Compiz Fusion or other 3D accelerated
applications.

other language by it self...it is a HP keyboard, but i don't know which model
(doesn't even say on the keyboard)

I am no advanced user, so i don't know what really happened, but i updated to
kernel 2.6.24-20 and when I tried to start it the screen went black...and I
just waited to see how long it was black and after 10min i gave up.
(If you wonder, I am using 2.6.24-19 at the moment)

When i click on the shutdown-button and click either "log out",
"restart", "Shutdown" or what so ever, nothing seams to happen. Just
some times Ubuntu logs out to the login windows where I must shutdown
using the options on the login window. So most of the time I need to do
