Ubuntu notebook remix 9.10
Microphone volume meter is avaible, but not recording possible...
Physicaly, microphone seems to be combinated with the integred camera (camera
works).
Same problem on linux mint 8...

But back to ubuntu 10.4 beta 1 (amd64)
I downloaded: linux-image-2.6.34-999-generic_2.6.34-999.201004132352_amd64.deb
Installed it, then reboot... and integred microphone works (input microphone 1).

I was having the same error as the above poster. Didn't have any library
errors but could not install the Flash Plugin. Rolling back to the Gutsy
ia32-libs fixed the error.
