There are two problems with the patch:
1. netcfg/hostname=ubuntu (or any value containing "ubuntu") remains unfixed.
2. Certain DHCP hostnames can result in corrupting the hosts file.
For example, with DHCP name "node" and "netcfg/hostname=newname" we have this

You can have both bumblebee and nvidia-prime installed. Even nouveau +
PRIME would work, it just requires appriopriate configuration. This
could be useful for experimenting or if you want to use
bumblebeed/bbswitch to save power and to use nvidia-prime at other times

The default params are load_state=-1 unload_state=-1 ("do not change").
