[Bug 2085713] [NEW] package grub-pc 2.12-5ubuntu5 failed to install/upgrade: installed grub-pc package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1

Public bug reported: this issue happened while upgrading to ubuntu 24.10. To be far, I started the upgrade a while ago and it may be the length of the time frame between upgrade start and seeing the bug today that caused the issue in the first place ProblemType: Package DistroRelease: Ubuntu 24.
