Using the 173.14.18 legacy driver I also have this problem. Oddly the
mouse never seems to get stuck on the central screen. However, sometimes
the mouse will be on the middle screen, while highlighting text the
mouse will act like it is located on either one of the outer screens

Hi.. It was making problems in Gutsy + FF2.0.0.13, but when I was asked to
create the crash report using firefox2-dbg, I couldn't find this package. Then
I upgraded to Hardy and FF3b and I had no crash since then.. so this is not an
issue for me any more..

I have the same problem on my laptop running 8.10 which has a standard
intel graphics card, and have had this problem ever since 7.04 (didn't
use ubuntu before then).
Like Francisco, my Xrestop also looks fairly 'normal', and closing
firefox doesn't change more than at most a couple of meg of ram.
I have also experienced this with printing duplex text files from
kwrite.
It's actually very easy to reproduce. Enter some text within kwrite, hit
file > print, choose properties "Properties" and for duplex printing
select "long side".

I have since moved that server from SUSE to Ubuntu Feisty recently. At
the same time I changed the wiring setup to that machine also.
Previously it was one cable from an amplifer simply split with a block,

I can confirm this works across multiple screens / GPU's on feisty also.
The frontend runs fine if I have a simple single monitor setup, and
using that work around, which is something!

It'd be nice to not require msttcorefonts, surely the mythtv-themes
could be patched? Or a package to fake msttcorefonts so it uses similar
but free alternatives?

I wonder why the theme designers went for the microsoft fonts in the
first place, when there are plenty of free alternatives out there. Are
you aware if the frontend is capable of having alternative fonts in the
themes or if it will need patched for that?

compiled a new ko. Hopefully this will be included in the next
