At a minimum, any fuse packages shou
encfs -v points to SSL_Cipher.cpp which shows that the a checksum
mismatch occured, see:

encryption to blowfish can prevent the failure in SSL_Cipher.cpp (AES).

then: I have shared a folder by right-clicking > Share > Share >
Configure File Sharing. The icon changes to a "shared" style icon
afterwards.

i tried now to access the folder with smb4k and it shows this failure:

same thin when i try to mount the smb share:

After fiddling and searching, I restarted samba (sudo /etc/init.d/samba
restart). And then I commented out "msdfs proxy = no" and restarted samba.
And voila! It's now working. I can dupllicate the problem. If I put in
"msdfs proxy = no" in my smb.conf and restart samba, it won't work. If I
comme
no.. in kde, but that does not matter..it's set in smb.conf

i have some strange acpi behavior on my notebook.

ok, i start to observe the behavior with "watch -n 1 acpi -t". it's easy
to see that "Thermal zone 5" is the fan speed!! that explains why it can
switch from zero to 80 and back that fast.
then i chanched:

sudo echo
same behaviour after a regular feisty 7.04 update/upgrade.

in my feisty i tried to mount my windows partition with the default settings
from the feisty install procedure :
i get in fstab:

but there was no success, i didn't foun
Today i was playing around with encfs and to get encfs working it was
necessary to do a "sudo addgroup user fuse"...and then after a while i
found out that i have a connection with sshfs...but i was not knowing
why...your answer explains now everything :-)
