Since Ubuntu 13.10 I've got problem with displaying text in editors such Geany
and Eclipse.
Attached screenshot shows how Eclipse look after opening.
To see regular window I need to drag&drop window by mouse, resize it and it get

It seems that without xorg-edgers there is some progress. In Geany everything
seems to be all right.

Hello,
In Ubuntu 13.10 I have problem with Eclipse. I think that is openjdk
related issue, becuase same thing happen to eclipse 3.8 and 4.3 Kepler.
When I'm scrolling view in editor it seems that doesn't refresh.
I have attached print screen to show what happened. It is real
after few days I can say that above not working correctly.
With pm-utils installed my laptop won't suspend,
without pm-utils onboard scripts won't be executing. I'm investigating it
further more

Thank you for answer.
The bug i report still exists. I can not update my Ubuntu 8.04 for newer
version because super-stable and I have no reason to change for newer.
I do not like newer versions. They are too modern and has too many
goodies. I use just Instant messenger, e-mail, FF, and

Also opened dash affects overall system performance. Unity is unusable
during that time(lags in moving mouse, moving windows, playing videos,
listening to music). After closing the dash, everything seems to go beck
to normal.

Without external display connected, changing Dash Blur option to No Blur
helps a little. But this is not the case when second display attached.
This might be related with dash/Alt-F2 dynamic background.
