netbook-launcher crashes so much (and over so many updated versions with
"fixes") that it's totally unuseable. It crashes just by clicking on
any icon, or just rebooting and waiting a few seconds or minutes.
Hopefully fixed before release.

I got the same error when run from the command line. I installed the RC of
Lucid, then did the latest updates. Opening a PDF file from the desktop gives
no error. Running evince from the shell (just type "evince") gives the error...

I can confirm the same problem on my fully updated Lucid Lynx laptop
(updated just a few minutes ago, and a reboot done after running update-
manager). The indicator for the battery appears and disappears all by
itself, no interaction required. I can get a menu for the battery icon
when it appear
I got the same update and rebooted (yeah, I don't have to)...but the
problem still persists. The battery icon appears and disappears all on
it's own as the notification area grows and grows (wierd). I'm running
on battery power (and it also occurs when plugged in, and doesn't appear
to be related
I wonder if I'm having the same issue with Lucid. When the computer
sleeps, if I restore the computer the login window pops up. If I
attempt to login, it get's stuck at processing and I have to forcibly
shutdown the system so I can use it.

Intel 950 graphics, EEE PC 1000h. I see a lot of Intels being
mentioned here. Just did an update, rebooted, then eventually got this
crash error. System appears to be working fine. Didn't get the splash
during bootup.

Why not add an "Advanced" menu that has sub-items to do the other two
options? Some of us might want to unmount, but DON'T want to have to
goto the command-line every time.

Safe to say, installing/uninstalling applications in the Ubuntu Software
Center (no matter what it is) causes this bug. I'd kinda say this
should be considered high importance or reviews of Lucid,when it is
released, are going to be harping on the "flagship" software "app store"
being buggy/crashy
Regardless of who's bug it is, or any in-fighting, the problem still
remains. Sorry, but it doesn't work as intended. There is a regression

How does one get ahold of this fix in binary form? I spent all night
trying to sync music to my iPhone 3GS, and it still only got through 33%
of it...and it taking forever to complete. This fix would be perfect
and would save days of syncing time.

I don't know if I'm having the same bug. Everytime I put my laptop to
sleep, if I wakeup and try to connect to a wireless network the system
freezes hard or never connects (whether it's an open or WPA2 network,
hidden or not). On a reboot, I'm always told that my kernel is unstable,

I was formatting an SD card with "Disk Utility". I unmounted the SD

This seems to happen whenever I go into sleep or hibernation. When I
come out, I get this error and I have issues with connecting to a
wireless network. Some serious problems somewhere with
sleep/hibernation.
