My Dell Latitude C400 uses an Intel i830M chipset. The display is
configured at 1024x768, 60 Hz, 24-bit -- however, when I look at any

Using intrepid with any 2.6.27 series kernel and intel video driver, my
Dell Latitude C400 does not resume correctly -- everything seems to come
back up fine, except the screen remains black (no backlight). Hibernate
still works fine.

This happens to me regularly (but not always) after I resume from
hibernate. I am running Xubuntu Gutsy on a Dell Latitude C400, but it
happened with older versions as well. I should mention that other
applets disappear occasionally, too -- the Places applet, for instance
-- but not as often as the
