I confirm the issue also affects tightvncserver (v1.3.9, there is a
v1.3.10 but it does not seem to include its own /etc/X11/rgb.txt).

Have several interfaces because virtualization is being used (2
additional ifaces created by VMware, and another one by VirtualBox).
Ekiga chooses the wrong interfaces, without an option to force the right
one (eth0).
No registration is possible.
Please note, that since 9.04 upgrade the "Network Settings" option on
the preferences has dissapeared.

Unfortunately, I have never built KDE from source, so I cannot do it by my self.
So the only collaboration I can provide will be to gladly test patched package

I can confirm that this bug is still present, on three different kubuntu
feisty machines (1 upgraded from edgy, 2 bare metal installs).
krfb does not accept connections sometimes, and when it does, cpu is
100% with krfb and X being the ones using all available CPU.

Well, it seems that krfb does not work with KDE 3.x and the fixes only comes in
KDE 4, unless you want
to checkout a CVS copy, apply patches and recompile Us the (k|x)ubutu folks
will have to wait for 7.10, and
its KDE 4 optional install...

Something similar happens with my Lenovo 3000 N100 (typecode 0689-a32)
which has a Celeron-M.
I use Kubuntu 6.10, using stock 2.6.17-11-generic or 2.6.20 built with
make-kpkg on the system.
It is not the very same problem, but the closest match I have found.
