I also have the same problem. At first I didn't, but suddenly it became
impossible to save in .rtf format. Just upgradedo to 10.04 3 days ago.
I followed the instructions to apport-collect, until it said i was not
the one authorized to do this. Something went wrong, I guess.

I am also having the problem described here. I'm using an up-to-date
ubuntu 12.04, on a lenovo u300s, with Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030
(rev 34).

I'm telling you that the spli function does not work. I'm a frecuent user of
