I can confirm this too (except the warning in the terminal)
also the adressbar doesn't work properly. when you switch the tab it
doesn't renew its content. also when you click on a link.
i disabled all extensions but it doesn't helped. Also the auto complete
behavior doesn't work anymore.

Look also at the adressbar, it doesn't contain the current url.
the empty toolbar is for the bookmarks toolbar.

i moved my ~/.mozilla/firefox folder to ~/.mozilla/firefox_ and started
firefox, and everything seems to run ok. When i have more time i will
try to locate the file(s) that caused the problem.
Has anyone an idea where i can start my search?

no i examined my extensions and saw that addblockplus is not supported by
firefox 3.
could i be that it was activated previously and caused the problem?
but i go an error while i tried to restore the backup

i cant remember that i run firefox as root. but the owner of
sessionstore.js was root. so it must be.
I tried to copy the sessionstore.js back in the firefox directory but i
still cannot reproduce the bug.
before i updated firefox i had the extension addblockplus running. no i

rythom box is blocking when samba share isn't available any
the importance of this bug could be set to low. I just recognized, that
it is not required to restart the application, you just need to switch
the workspace and go back to bring the cursor back and the possibility
to write again. This is still unpleasing but not to much effort to gain
