After upgrading a few days ago to 2.6.24-19-generic on i386 arch Ubuntu
8.04.1 and upgrading to latest nvidia package 169, I've started to see
instability in my system (its a mythbunutu).

I have nvidia in a dual screen configuration using twinview (xinerama is
disabled) running Ubuntu intrepid.
Usually after idle time the screen crashes,
I can see in my log file the following errors before the loop error

Sebastian, using OpenSearch will only solve the issue for searches, not for
bookmarks and history.

The fix is suboptimal, as wish8.5 can be installed (part of tk8.5, which
is available in hardy), and shows antialiased fonts. The best option IMO
would be the one currently in git (the git repository of gitk, that is),
which is to leave it at /usr/bin/wish and let people choose with update-
alterna
