It just failes to install. I had a lot of problem because I have tried
to upgrade to 14.04.

Hi,
I am not sure this is a vlc bug because when it happens with the top command I
can see that Xorg uses 100% of the processor but it happens for me only when I
am using vlc:
-I open the vlc player in command line and I go to the preferences
-when I click on Show settings/A

But maybe is not a random one.
I have attached an images on the top it shows how the link should appear and on
the bottom how it appears when the pointer is under the workspace switcher
line. The mouse in this horizontal line doesn't working.

I think this is fixed. I update my system weekly and the problem did not
occure about a month ago.
