I've got the same problem but it appeared without reasons.
I'm on Intrepid since 2 week, connected on my personal hotspot, and no
problem.
However, the problem was appared when i'm connect on my parent's
hotspot. No particular settings on this connection (54mbit, WPA-PSK, IP

this was successful before a clean install to Lucid 10.04
