Using the latest drivers on this thread (16th July) I initially managed
to connect to a WPA Enterprise network, but ever since then I haven't
managed it again. The authentication box keeps popping up over and over
again, but I can connect to the same network from the same machine with

I also use a password-protected RSS feed over https from a self-signed
site that I've added a permanent exception for. Thunderbird asks me
once at startup for the username and password, but not again after that.
I'd actually quite like it to not ask me at all (I've saved the username

I've now been able to perform some tests. Using the rtl8187se I can
connect to a WEP network but not WPA personal nor enterprise. If I plug
in a D-Link USB dongle, I can connect to all three networks without
problem. So it's definitely a problem with the rtl8187se and WPA, but
it's not obvious w
My comments about WPA not working refer to Intrepid, with the 2.6.27-5
kernel. I haven't yet upgraded to 2.6.27-7.

I tried the latest instructions (thanks niclone and mangouste06) and got
the driver to build. First problem I had when running it was that
ndiswrapper was getting in the way, so I scrubbed that from my system

I'd like to retract my previous comment... I haven't had any luck again
since the first few times it worked. My wireless doesn't connect to a
WPA Enterprise network regardless of when I run the wlan0up script etc,
but in Windows on the same machine it works fine. Added to that, my

On my Advent 4211 (rebadged MSI Wind, same hardware) I have had trouble
connected to a WPA Enterprise network with the driver above. It
discovers the network and begins connecting, but the DHCP request times

Doing as Julien suggested (deleting the modules in /lib/...) and using
the wlan0up script (which would seem to have the same effect, since it
just uses insmod and ifconfig), my wireless network then connected first
time (using WPA Enterprise). Perhaps it is something to do with the
boot sequence -
