Trying to get a backtrace on moon-lander was awkward at best. There's no
moon-lander-dbg package, and the program doesn't actually crash, it just
stops responding (and takes 100% CPU).

Yea, I had already been setting the brightness level on boot with

The hotkey settings are new and help. Those settings invert brightness

Since I got the same behavior with Armegatron Advanced, which was also
fixed when I installed libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio I think that this is
probably one libsdl bug rather than two bugs for specific games. I'm
going to go ahead and mark both bugs that way.

When downloading videos using bittorrent I keep getting these "totem
crashed" dialogs when it tries to thumbnail incomplete files.
Edgy/AMD64. Apps crashing on invalid data files is a bad deal - I'm
always afraid there's a security issue.

I ended up deleting something in my apt cache I shouldn't have, then
couldn't find the version of the file I had deleted to replace it, and was
forever in apt limbo. I ended up reformatting and reinstalling, after
trying in vain to fix things.

That got me to 304.135-0ubuntu0.16.04.2. Latest on
nvidia.com/object/unix.html is 340.137 2017.9.19.
I don't know if either of them have the Meltdown/Spectre fixes.

typing `evince FNM.pdf`), I cannot type a page number in the box at the
