4.6.0-040600rc7 too and seems to work after reboots.

In my case it is a Yoga 11S but they use the same (bad ;() wifi chip.
Thanks for digging into the module and submitting the patch. I hope
there is some way this patch finds it way into my system ... not
possible for me to build the module myself.

After rebooting the system, the wifi is not initialized correctly.
