For additional Information. Actually I deactivated in the BIOS as functions but
the 3G function and couldn't establish a connection.
With the Sasic3G I could establish a connection. So I have for this case a
workaround. It would be nicer I could use the NetworkManager, as I could use it
with 9.0
The correct name is Sakis3G.

Hi,
the past Weeks, I tried to find the reason for this Bug together with Dan
Williams, one of the NM Developers.
This isn't a NM Problem. It's the Modem Manager. Finally he told me the
following, which I will share with you.

Hi,
ok but this is not a real solution if you are working in a company. You
can't change the domain name (Active Directory Name) only because one
user can't open documents with openoffice. ;-)

It's very hard to replicate issues, furthermore because after the first day of
"low-graphic mode" the system never asked me more.
Anyway sometimes Kwin seems to crash (screen freeze, go black and reappear
without effects and transparencies). Next time this happen I'll post the Xorg
log.
But now
It's not like the previous "checked screen" I mentioned but looks like.
Pic turns to blue, but is actually more "violet" than blue ;)

Hi,
I have the same problem with f-spot 0.4.3.1 on Ubuntu 8.04 - but I can
open my camera pictures with GIMP.
Also importend - the application crashes not always, and not always at
the same picture. But I must try it 10 times before I can export ~20
pictures to folder (ORIGINAL export type).
