Binary package hint: gwget
Gwget starts by using 7-8 MB of RAM when I run it and continues to fill
it up until it reached 1.8GB out of my 2GB. At that point the system was
barely crawling as it was running out of RAM. When I restarted gwget
everything was back to normal excep
I'm not sure it is reproducible, but these are the steps that led to the
problem:
I manualy started the Update Manager and updated the system. When the
update finished, the system restarted, but it did not responded to mouse
or keyboard events so I rebooted it using the power button. This time

I confirm that 12.04 clean installation is also affected by this bug. A
workaround is to disable HTML preview and use plaintext vew.

Just tried to add it manually and surprisingly it worked. Here are the
steps:
1) go to http://localhost:631 and click on 'add printer' in 'administration'
2) choose 'Internet Printing Protocol (ipps)' or whatever your printer supports
3) add the URI and click next. In my case it was: socket://
