using the autopilot-qt snap from the store, it doesn't work for me,
because that snap is missing libqttestability.so.
Building an autopilot-qt snap from this branch [1] makes it work for me.
Running it with that, it works fine, I can call the autopilot interface
on D-Bus:
$ qdbus com.canonical.
ok. fixes for unity8 and unity8-session-snap are relased (the
LD_LIBRARY_PATH and testability interface stuff).
What's missing is releasing the linked branch for autopilot-qt.
Marking as fixed for unity8, added autopilot-qt as INPROGRESS

Ok, I can reproduce this now. Some findings:
I seems to only happen when searching for "xt" (xterm), then searching
something in the "S" section and when the search result gives only one
result within that section after the second letter. E.g. for me it
crashes when searching for "sa" (sakura), "s
The speed at which the search is done doesn't matter... It is even
possible to
search "xterm", delete that, type "s", switch to another vt, attach gdb
to unity8, switch back and then type "a" to make it happen.
Sadly, the stack traces always seem to end up in some Qt metacall magic

@Bob, I agree this bug is important to fix in order to provide a very
smooth user experience. However, it's not like the bottom edge would not
work at all currently. I for one am happy to see the other fixes
accumulated for OTA 12 being released to the users and not being delayed

I have verified that the machine is not out of memory. It has 8GB of RAM
and another 8GB of swap space which is not even touched yet.

Having some couple of thousand pictures in the photo library, scrolling
through them with shotwell makes the picture view just go white.

On devices with larger screens it frequently happens to me that when I
type with the OSK, I drag the OSK down by a few pixels. When I release
it, it snaps back up so it doesn't hide, but it still lost that
character that I intended to press.

Ok, the attached .click should work on all our supported devices. You do
need rc-proposed in order for receiving files to work. Sending files via
content hub should work on stable too (assuming apparmor policies are in
place).

Attaching another click that can establish a bluetooth connection
between 2 devices. One side creates an SPP chat server, the other can
connect to it as a client.
This can be used to exercise:
On the server side,
* the local Bluetooth device is made visible so that the client can scan for it

See attached screenshot. The second notification is collapsed (shows the
expansion arrow and hides the buttons. It is however still showing the
password input field but that should be hidden too.
