Binary package hint: brasero
I try to convert my DVDs into ISO images for streaming them via my PS3.
I use the Brasero "Copy Disc..." functionality and until now it failed
on the following discs with "Error reading video DVD (fatal error in vts
css key)":

BTW, the Totem video player can play the Antz DVD without a problem.

I was able to convert the Antz DVD into a ISO image using the following
script:

I upgraded from Ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10 BETA.
Now, the content of the Desktop folder is no longer shown, neither are any
drives that are mounted.
When I ls the Desktop folder I find multiple folders and downloaded archives
there.
I get the context menu when I right click, but

However, the desktop seems to be operational, because when I select
"Create Folder..." from the context menu and type "abc", I can find it
in the Desktop folder when looking into it via terminal.
Also when clicking right mouse button on the left side of the screen the
context menu changes to a lon

I decided to turn off the graphical effects as they seem to be slow down
the old hardware unnecessarily. When I switched the "Visual Effects" to
"None", the black screen disappeared and the Desktop was shown. The
"Visual Effects" were working for my old gfx card "RV280 [Radeon 9200
SE]" in 9.04.
