I'm using quemu to tweak Armbian Jammy images for Raspberry Pi 5 (so it
would have ldconfig from 22.04) and I have signal 11 when libc
reconfiguration is triggered by apt.
What you may find interesting running the same process of updates on the
same base image on Ubuntu 22.04 (which has qemu 6.2)
This is Gnome bug I presume that manifests mostly on Ubuntu (clash with
Canonical's tweaks) with some HDMI monitors (mostly Lenovo). The same
monitors work as intended under Windows.
My bet is they send some message back to the computer when they change
power state after requested to go to full po

OK, in my case my Lenovo L28u-30 doesn't have option to disable
autoswitch.
What I noticed on 24.04, however, is that if I lock the screen with 🪟+L
and the notebook (Lenovo P16s) screen goes full blank and then I turn
off L28u-30 with switch, it stays blank (so I can save backlight).

I have no idea if I report right package, but at least it's a starting
point. I'm using ThinkPad P16s with second screen connected to HDMI.
After some relative recent updates this problem starting to happen,
while I didn't have that issue at the beginning.
After reboot everyt

After main screen goes into "sluggish/IRQ spam" mode, I can close the
lid and work normally... until system goes to sleep. Unlock screen
doesn't go back on the HDMI screen. Opening lid does nothing.
Fiddling with Ctrl+Alt+Fx let me move to the console with a HUGE lag,
where I can log in and `sudo

amdgpu and wakes. I tried HWE 6.11 hoping that would have enough
bugfixes from upstream to get me sorted, but it's even worse than
#2093268 as the screen is blank after unlock.
My hardware is ThinkPad P16
That's 1.9.x line - is it going to be backported to Noble? That's LTS we
plan to use for next couple of years and this qemu problem is hitting us
hard.

This is related to #2098670 on 6.11 HWE that has been confirmed, but has
lowered priority.
If any of you could try HWE kernel on Noble and report results there it
would be nice.
Workaround: downgrading to 6.8.0-49-generic prevent

The last working version is 6.8.0-49.49, however, 6.8 line symptoms are
as on my other bug 2093268 - there's picture, very laggy and high
utilisation of kworker thread. On 6.11 line the image on main screen is
gone.

Raspberry Pi has different architecture, uses HDMI differently than
