I found somebody intensively working on the saa716x chipset. See here:

to test it on my TV card (details here:

Just a feed back. I could compile and install the saa716X drivers being
developed on the site I mentioned above. My kernel is 2.6.32.28-generic.
Unfortunately my card is not supported by the driver as indicated on the
"menuconfig". That's it.
