The 0.6.4svn2422 worked well. NM-applet automatically restarted and put
out an connection-error message instead of crashing and disappearing. I
think it has something to do with my university having set a group
password which is saved encrypted in the .pcf file which is not imported

I can confirm this on Kubuntu 7.04. My guess is that there might be some
processes blocking the shutdown: If I have a fresh login, KDE shutdown
mostly works. If I enter "sudo shutdown now" into the terminal the PC
shuts down instantly. Maybe the KDE shutdown buttons need to be a little
more aggress

Yes, the problem still exists in Edgy Eft. It is an Atheros chipset WLAN
miniPCI card, so I think it has something to do with madwifi kernel
module. It is just a small anoyance, nothing to serious.

I can confirm this on a Xubuntu 9.10 GUI installation. I get an error
that "swap b75499a0... from /etc/fstab is not mounted" while watching
the white/black boot-screen. I checked using gparted and it is really
unmounted. This happened at every reboot so far.

I posted the error message at REVU which is currently offline (yeah..
great). I had the problem that pbuilder-satisfydepends-dummy told me
that some packages are virtual, but they were not virtual packages,
which was irritating for a packaging newbie and frustrated me 2 weeks

I only touched the files that are listed in https://merges.ubuntu.com/g
/gnome-chemistry-utils/REPORT under "Conflicts" and applied the Debian
changes to the files. debian/rules must have been automatically
modified, I removed addition on my local copy.
I simply kicked out all the old patches from
