I'd like to confirm the above, that the 10/5 daily did not work. I'm
not too hardware-savvy, is there anything I need to be changing in
either the BIOS or physically?
I just finished putting together a new computer, Core Duo, P5B MB, SATA
hard drive, etc.

JMicron PATA/SATA Controller does no
I managed to get Dapper installed via instlinux net install (of course
had to put another network card in my box first).
Oddly enough, it worked fine until I tried to update to Edgy (thinking
that would possibly help my cd/dvd and network card be identified). I
ended up having to reinstall.
