in the latest development version of Ubuntu - the Intrepid Ibex.

I've attached a debdiff for hardy-proposed. It includes sf suggestion to
not enable disk_cache on upgrades from 2.0. As suggested by elmo, even
if we don't set EnableCache in disk_cache.conf, have disc_cache.load

What about adding a package that drops a file in /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/ to

Thanks for you log files. There are some error messages, but openssh-
server was successfully upgraded. I've seen similar bug reports with the

AFAIK the Linux input device system doesn't provide sufficient
information to distinguish between keyboards, mouses and IR receivers.
For that reason g-l-p checks the human readable name of such devices to
filter out keyboards during auto detection. Can you attach the contents
of your /proc/bus/in
Looks like lircd crashes after sending some few lines to its socket. Should not
happen, but can be worked arround by catching the exception.
So I agree on catching it and setting packet to '' in the exception handler.

What do you confirm ?
If you don't see EXTERNAL as a supportedSASLMechanisms, make sure that
the client is sending a valid ssl certificate. With a proper ssl setup,
I was able to get EXTERNAL listed as a supportedSASLMechanisms with
2.4.9.
