reinforce the non-interactive character of the notifications. Adding
borders, gradients, etc may be a nice visual touch, but in the case of
your mockup the border is very harsh, giving it a "cartoony" feel, which
may not be a goo
One more thing to consider before you propose such change - how would you
display the gradient when the bubble grows to its
maximum size?

suggested US keyboard layout. This used to work fine before.

To reproduce:
1. Perform a clean installation of Lucid Alpha 2
2. Do not run any updates
3. Try to play an mp3 file
Note: the same error occurs regardless of whether internet connection is
established or not

Currently, network-manager uses notify-osd in a suboptimal way.
Typical scenario:
My netbook is connected to the wireless network.
1. It suspends
2. It resumes and reconnects to the same network. While that happens, the
network-manager

The beep is still present - Lucid alpha 1... :(

Again, to reproduce on Dell Mini 9:
- let your battery run critically low (> 10%)
- listen carefully :)
This bug is extremely frustrating to me. Every time I get the beep I
have to stop working, even though there's still plenty of battery life
left. I don't have to mention the potential embarass

Hm, are you sure? It wasn't the case on Hardy and Jaunty, and I have
never upgraded the BIOS.
