I reproduced the problem by modifying one entry of my iftab file so that it
does not match anymore:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cat /etc/iftab
# This file assigns persistent names to network interfaces. See iftab(5).
eth0 mac 00:11:43:7A:0A:2B# was 2A at the end

I recently got my motherboard replaced. After the change, I was unable
to use my eth0 card since the mac address naturally changed during the
modification.
The symptom when running "ifup eth0" were:
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
eth0: ERROR while
looks like I assigned this to the wrong package. udev seem more
appropriate to me after some more searches. Sorry for the noise.

Hello,
I'm the upstream author and Debian packager of this program. This bug is fixed
in 2.8.1.
You can either wait for the package to propagate to Ubuntu stable (it
should be part of Groovy Gorilla), or download the jar file directly
from the upstream webpage:
http://people.irisa.fr/Martin.Quins
According to the stacktrace, this is right after starting the program,
in the main menu.
Since this bug is rather old now (version 3.1 while 4.7 is currently
packaged) and since this was not reproduced since then, I'd say that we
can close this bug.
Unless of course if the submitter comes with a
I think that this bug can be closed, because if it could be reproduced,
it would make the package uninstallable. Instead, po4a passes all
piupart tests.

Well, it seems that the game is not playable without 3D acceleration
from your hardware. Given the kind of game, I'd say that this is hardly
a bug, actually.

This is due to the version of libjsoncpp that is outdated in

As the debian maintainer, I'm puzzled with this bug. The manpage is of
course not well formated as XML since it's a man page, using groff
macros as any other man page. I suspect that the main issue comes from
gnome-help itself that does not like inline changes of font. Indeed, it
failed on the line
For the record, I fixed this in the debian package, so that it get fixed
at the next resync.

This was readded upstream on Thu Sep 17 22:11:54 CEST 2009 (according to
their changelog), released as 0.60 and this made its way into debian and

This bug can thus be closed.

For the record, I just set the default pager to "less -R" when none is
used (upstream and in debian package). That should make this PEBKAC
