the account created during installation) and a subsequent one.

Quite a soliloquy I have going here.
Anyway, my radeon x700 card is simply not supported with the xorg 7.3 included
with Ubuntu hardy.
It should be, according to all documentation I saw before I bought it but DRI
just doesn't work.
I managed to install some testing versions of the drm modules an
I tested using the xorg-edgers script in a live environment and DRI was enabled.
Is there any similarly sane way to upgrade the xorg packages in hardy to xorg
7.4 while keeping my ubuntu-desktop etc? This will probably be available in
intrepid Ibex but I don't really want to wait 4+ months to use

I was really surprised there was no supported way to clear the location bar.
Furthermore, this problem persists in 3.0.5 and it's extremely annoying.
It IS a bug and a big enough bug for me to invoke 'sudo apt-get purge firefox'.
There are times when you simply DO NOT WANT firefox blabbing about e

However, it's more complex than that because I am quite sure it was NOT doing
that before I deleted places.sqlite.
I had a ~100MB places.sqlite file and I had requested that firefox 3.0.5 clear
my history several times before moving it and a

I made some progress. It looks like part of the dataset used to run test
is adapted to big endian (via #if __BYTE_ORDER__ ==
__ORDER_LITTLE_ENDIAN__) but this is not needed (and even problematic).
