I run Hardy, 64 bit and in Pidgin, "Purple?", when you attempt to customize by
aliasing an ICQ Buddy it constantly reverts to the ICQ UIN, not the alias.

proper at one time anyways.
During the unscreenshottable Aliasing dialogue it looks as if it might
be offering you a chance, but no dice. upon hitting enter it returns to
the protocol screem with no aliasing in those entries.

You know another thing, is that usually in ICQ if you right click get
info it replaces the UIN to the UIN's published name from the server, it
does not do that either.
