It's still a problem in amarok 2.0 (and 2.1). I just reencode all my
flac files that don't have seek information with flac filename.flac -S

It's probably the same bug. You can start your system if you wait in the
busybox for sata drives to be loaded (check dmesg from time to time) and
then write "exit", hit enter and the system will start. I use main that
way actually. Today's update to the kernel didn't help.

I installed the packages. It helped only partially. Right now I can draw but
cursor jumps from point to point (like there was some grid) and when I take the
pen away it still behaves like I'm pressing (for example when I start selecting
a region in Nautilus and then take the pen away, selecting

I reported that the problem was gone for me but I discovered recently
that it's not entirely gone. I don't have busybox anymore as long as I
don't attach additional SATA drive. When I attach the SATA drive (third
HDD in my system) then it's busybox again and sometimes writing exit and
hitting enter

I noticed that up_threshold on my computer was 95 (is it default) which

If I am using auto-login I don't want to type a password to connect to a
wireless network too. Auto-login is for users that don't want to type anything
during system start. What is the sense of auto-login if I need to login (type

ALSA by default in Ubuntu 9.10 duplicates front speakers output to the
rear speakers when in stereo mode (so one can attach headphones to the
rear output and switch between speakers and headphones easily or use
less noisy rear output on SBLive!

It was possible on Ubuntu 9.04.

Yes, it might be the GPU fan - since it's on the right side of the
laptop (the fan on the left seems to be controlled just fine), latest
Nvidia Drivers don't help though. It's likely a different bug then, I
will try reporting it to nvidia instead.

I get it only with Exaile. After update to Ubuntu 10.10 Exaile (and only
Exaile) is unstable like hell. I'll probably switch to Clementine or sth
but i like Exaile and will miss it.

Such long load times make Inkscape unusable for work when you have a lot
of files to look through or modify. There should be an option to fix it
- and not by deleting fonts. For example Inkscape should load fonts in
the background - and only show those that are already loaded.
