controller (raid5 with 3 + 1 spare). The spare is recognized sometimes,
but not always.

Almost the same here. I first upgraded guest from 11.10 to 12.04. That
was fine. When I upgraded the host as well, the guest crashes before I
can really see anything in the console (it does become black for a short
moment, bu then it's gone).
Comparing this particular guest with my other VMs showe
I'm running the "proposed" kernel 2.6.35-24-generic-pae for about 2 week
now. It seems to fix the hibernate/suspend problem. I still had one or
two failures, but things have improved significantly.

After upgrading to 13.04 libreoffice impress running on Xvnc crashes
when switching to presentation mode.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Xvnc4
2. Connect with vnc viewer to Xvnc4
3. Start libroffice impress with DISPLAY set to Xvnc4 server
4. Using vnc viewer, open presentatio
I tested v3.9.0. The result is "kernel-replaces-bug-upstream". Resume
from suspend works without the fan going up, BUT in regular operation,
the fan will no longer go down, once its speed has increased.
With v3.9.0 I get this: starting two endless loops (it's a dual core
machine) makes the tempera

Regression in ik
It's a bit more difficult because the old JS library's API isn't
available any more. And the old library is really, really, outdated,
meaning that there are no security fixes either, so I can understand
that it was dropped.
Actually, it'd be up to MediaTomb (upstream) to update MediaTomb. But
this
"My own solution" is still going to take some time, just mentioned it
because starting my project was triggered by MediaTomb having obviously
been abandoned. Thanks for the link, should be helpful for everybody who
comes across this bug.

In case anybody is looking for it: I can confirm that this bug also
occurs when trying to connect from oneiric to a Fritz!Box (popular DSL-
Router in Germany) and that using version 2.1.5 from Natty fixes the
problem.

Having no problems with HP6730b/Oneiric. Distro version even provided
the fastest suspend/resume I've ever seen (almost instant resume). After
the latest updates, it takes 10-20 seconds again, but it works reliably.

I just updated my 10.04 LTS to 10.04.1 and fell into this trap. It is
very annoying and I think the importance should be increased. The
problem is that the original /etc/init.d/ssh included a test for virtual
environments (searching for some string in /proc/self/status, it's gone
