I'm experiencing the same problem with amulegui 2.1.3
I get this message on the console repeated many times:

In a fresh Ubuntu 18.04 desktop install, I've found a very strange behaviour on
my Dell XPS 15.
This laptop doesn't have an integrated Ethernet port, so I've to use external
USB 3.0 Ethernet adapters.
When I boot Ubuntu with the adapter plugged in, the wired connection secti
I've update all packages this morning, but they don't fix this.
Please note that this behavior doesn't always show (very often but not every
time).
I can confirm that when it occours, I can manage wifi, ethernet and VPNs
profiles from Gnome Control Center, but not from gnome top menu.

I've exactly the same bug in my Ubuntu 15.10. It seems related to
mount/umount commands, since mount mounts fstab entries marked as
"user", while umount cannot unmount the same entries.

I can confirm this bug on my 2012 Mac Pro (Nvidia binary driver 331.38 from
nvidia-331-updates (proprietary)).
The same bug doesn't happen on a Asus N56VM (Nvidia binary driver 331.38 from
nvidia-331 (proprietary, tested)).

I've found a small workaround.
In /etc/pm/config.d i've created a file "config" containing the following line:
SUSPEND_MODULES="alx"
Now suspend works, but NetworkManager fails to resume the last connection
profile used on resume (it doesn't remember the active connection on suspend).
