I use short login l (small letter L) usually. OpenOffice.org 2.4 from
8.04LTS crashes on load/save dialogs with such account. Actually it is
not crash but total hangup of refreshing the windows content. I did not
notice CPU eating in such moment.
Tested on two machines, both
It seems that the bug does not longer exist in OO.org 1:2.4.1-1ubuntu2.
It was existing in 1:2.4.1-1ubuntu1. Closing.

It seems that after installing Alpha4 *almost* everything was alright. I
am certain that I was not meddling with /etc/ssl/private/ssl-cert-
snakeoil.key before the problem occured.

I have psql happily running. Executable flag on key file is not necessary (that
was my fault as well) and/or could even be forbidden in this case - try to set
exact permission flags. Check also directory permission and owners.

Is the problem related to Gnome? But it affects Firefox too. Restricted
NV driver doesn't matter in this subject.

The same happens to me. I have a fresh 9.10 installed, my DVDROM is
PIONIER DVR 216. When I insert CD with Audio or data, DVDRM starts but
doesn't mount the disc. I have to make several attempts before the drive
will start working. It is really annoying bearing in mind that 8.04
worked without that
