I'm using an asus videocard with nvidia chipset of 512 MB. Some days ago has
been released new updates for Intrepid that killed completely the resolution of
my screen dropping it from 1440x900 to 1280x1024.

I would report the same problem that Brian had describe above. I'm running
ubuntu 8.04 kernel 2.6.24-17-386 on the HP dv6163ea and the system can't find
the integrated webcam (model 05ca:1870).
I installed Arakne drivers but when i use the cam in skype the colours are
completely wrong (the imag
None of this solutions are working for the ricoh 05ca:1870 integraated
in HP pavillion dv6000. do you have any suggestions?

I sorted the problem for my 05ca:1870 in Intrepid.
I found the proper way in this discussion on ubuntu forum, I copy here just in
