This is related to the move of gconf from corba to DBus.
Because gconf is now over the session dbus, you can't talk to it from

times out of 3 when my wired cable wasn't plugged, and didn't hang 3

Hi,
Mount a CDROM, hibernate, remove CDROM, resume: the CDROM remains
mounted.
Killing nautilus or gvfsd doesn't help, gvfs-mount -u doesn't want to
unmount stating that the mount point doesn't exist. Unmounting from
nautilus fails with "can not mount: no media" (vaguely).

When booting the amd64 dvd iso in kvm (on amd64), I get a display
corruption in the top panel at various places; opening the GNOME menus
fixes the corruptions in these spots. The corruption doesn't happen in
the installed OS.

before rebooting, but MID and UMPC images don't prompt to remove the USB
key.
