When p7zip-full is installed there is no problem.

I am sorry.
After I switched to Head Phones on PulseAudio, it didn't switch back, and I had
the following from amixer:
Simple mixer control 'Front',0
Capabilities: pvolume pswitch
Playback channels: Front Left - Front Right
Limits: Playback 0 - 64
Mono:
Front Left: Playback 0 [0%] [-64.
I had my problem fixed. It was actually my mistake.
Could you post the output of "amixer"?

When I try to change the language of the entire text from Italian to
English, it doesn't work. If I set the language for the text selection
to English it works, but when I set it to English for the entire text,
it turns to Italian again.

Hi! I changed the status back to "Incomplete".
I have the same hardware as that of Pac Shady, but he is no longer
testing his one.
I have installed standard Karmic desktop 32bit, with kernel

I was going to file the same bug but I serached before and found this
one.
It would also be nice to allow the use of any ISO image with internal
structure compatible to that of Ubuntu, rather than /etc/lsb-release or
hard-coded constraints. The user will do it at her own risk, but it may
be useful

I can assume, maybe any root previlegions (rights) to sound hardware are
different (when boot from LiveCD and then boot from installed system).
How can I check it? I add user "leo" to the groups "pulse", "pulse-
access" and "audio". It doesn't help.

I upgrade pulseaudio to version 0.9.20 from ppa:ubuntu-audio-dev/ppa.
And there is no changes. Sound capture don't work. With pulseaudio
version 0.9.19 on LiveCD and boot from LiveCD it still work.

This laptop has 1GiB RAM and at BIOS setup I can choose how much of this
